Forty years of cutting, stitching and checking under one roof.
Sri Vinayaga Bag Industries started in 1990 as a small unit in George Town, Chennai. Four decades later we still run our own manufacturing floor — pattern-making, cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery and quality control all happen in-house, which is the only reason we can hold a delivery date and a specification at the same time.
We buy imported nylon and polyester, and genuine leather, from established suppliers, and we check every incoming lot before it is cut. Our aim has not changed since the beginning: the best quality we can build, at a price that makes sense for an order of five hundred.

How it’s made
From your drawing to a packed carton.
Four stages, all on our own floor in Chennai. Nothing moves to the next stage until the one before it has been checked — and nothing goes into bulk until you have held the sample in your hands.
- STEP 01
Pattern & cutting
Your specification becomes a pattern, then a physical sample. Nothing goes into bulk until you have held the sample and signed it off.
- STEP 02
Stitching
Panels are assembled on industrial machines by operators who have been doing this for decades. Load-bearing joints are bar-tacked, not straight-stitched.
- STEP 03
Print & embroidery
Logos go on before final assembly wherever possible, so the artwork sits inside the seam and cannot lift at the edge.
- STEP 04
Quality check & packing
Every unit is checked for stitch integrity, zip run and hardware finish before it is packed. Rejects go back to the floor, not into the carton.
Sampling usually takes a week. Bulk follows your approval, not our schedule — tell us the date you need stock in hand and we will work backwards from it.

Do you manufacture in bulk only, or do you sell single pieces?
We are a manufacturing unit, so we work in bulk — typically from 100 pieces per design, or 50 for genuine leather office bags. We do not sell single retail pieces.
Can you make a bag to our own design?
Yes. Send a drawing, a reference photo or a physical sample and we will pattern it, quote it and produce a physical sample for your approval before any bulk production starts.
How do I get a quote?
Tell us the bag type, the quantity, the branding you need and your delivery date. Use the enquiry form on this site, call +91 98402 78198, or send the details on WhatsApp. A drawing or reference photo speeds things up considerably.
Do you deliver outside Chennai?
Yes. We supply across Tamil Nadu and the rest of India, and we have shipped to customers outside the country. Delivery is arranged as part of the order.

Sri Vinayaga Bag Industries was established in 1990 in Chennai — over 40 years of continuous production from our own unit.
What kind of branding can you apply?
Embroidery, screen print, sublimation, rubberised badges, metal logo plates and blind embossing on leather. Which one suits depends on your artwork and the fabric — we will recommend rather than let you pick blind.
